Ronald McDonald House Missoula

The Ronald McDonald House, Missoula depends entirely on donations from individuals, businesses and foundations. The local McDonald's Restaurant owners support the House in a variety of ways; through direct donations, sponsorships, promotions and fund raising events. We do not receive monetary support from the McDonald's Corporation, however the national sponsorship; Cargill, Nestle, Bissel, Brand Source among others helps us to keep our costs down and support our families well. We are an IRS recognized 501 (c) 3 so your donation should be tax deductible, but as always, please check with your tax preparer on any claimed deduction.

The House is located in Missoula, Montana because this is where the largest medical facilities are located. Families with pediatric patients from Missoula are not eligible to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. So, neighboring communities actively supporting our program. It is their citizens who are staying at the House when seeking medical care for their children. Events and other fund raising efforts in outlying communities are most effective because in many cases, our former guests are very willing to identify themselves and help to promote the Ronald McDonald House in their communities.
