RMHM Connects with the Community
While the House is completely paid for, the work of fund raising continues as we strive to strengthen families so they can support their children. Yearly events such as our Red Shoe Ball in March of each year, the Missoula Osprey Jersey Auction in June, and the Gingerbread House Contest in November & December are events when our sponsors, donors and generous participants help to raise the funds necessary to keep the House open. Fund raising events sponsored by various civic and other organizations, private donations, memorials, corporate and foundation support also contribute to our ongoing needs and successes.
- Gingerbread Contest- November 14 - December 28, 2012. Tenth Annual Gingerbread Contest, gingerbread creations displayed at Southgate Mall in Missoula, entries judged by both professionals and the public. - The Red Shoe Ball- March 8, 2013. Seventh Annual "No Black Tie...Just Red Shoes" event held at the Hilton Garden Inn with a special Ronald McDonald House twist. Live and silent auction art items available, sumptuous dinner catered by the Blue Canyon Restaurant with dancing following the live auction. Everyone is encouraged to wear RED SHOES for this event.will Information available on www.redshoeball.com. - Missoula Osprey Jersey Auction - June 22,23,24, 27 and culminating the night of June 28. Come out and have a great time watching our Missoula Osprey and bid on special edition baseball jerseys which will be worn on the field by the players on the night of the 28th. You can even get your picture with the player wearing your jersey and get their autograph. Last year's event was a complete sellout so come on out watch a great ballgame with the family and support the families who use the Ronald McDonald House of Missoula.
